Are you ready for some FOOTBALL! The 2008 Football and Cheerleading season is here. We look forward to your support of our program.

Weigh-In Day
Football Players Only

Weigh-in day is a mandatory event for all football players. Each player is weighed to make sure they are in compliance for their squads weight requirements. Players must wear their game jersey. The NCFL will oversee the weigh-in process. Failure to attend will result in a one game suspension. Weigh-in day is Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 8:00am. Your Head Coach will announce locations.

PRACTICE SESSIONS

All players and cheerleaders should be dressed appropriately and be ready to go at the start of practice. Remember to bring your water bottles!!!!

The first day of practice will be Monday, July 28, 2008. All practices will be at Miller Richardson Field.

Snack Shack

The Snack Shack offers food items, snacks, and beverages. Didn't have time for dinner? Stop by and grab a hamburger, pizza slice, or a special of the day! Forgot your water? Stop by and get a gatorade! Treat everyone for delicious dessert! The Snack Shack is manned by all parent volunteers. The Snack Shack is open every practice and on home game days. All profits go directly back to the program to help cover expenses. The success of our Snack Shack is dependent on our Parent Volunteers. Should you choose to volunteer in the Snack Shack, training will be provided. Our Volunteer Coordinator will work with parents to schedule specific days and times. Thank you in advance for your time and efforts and appetites!!

Tag Day

A day where football players, cheerleaders, and coaches represent our league and collect donations in front of area businesses in town. Players/cheerleaders are in uniform. This day is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2008. Time and locations still to be determined. All profits from this day go to support our program.

Volunteers Wanted

The kids enjoy playing football and cheerleading, however this program needs Volunteers to succeed. Your time is important to you, but we could use a little bit of it. Please consider helping our program so our kids can enjoy their games and be proud Coventry Panthers!
