Meet the team

There are four Coventry Youth Football Teams, divided by age group.  Each team is made up of kids and teens from Coventry.  Many of the teens move on from the Coventry Youth Football & Cheerleading Association to the Coventry High School Football and Cheerleading Teams.

The Coventry Youth Football and Cheerleading Association is part of the Northern Connecticut Football League.

A Squad

12, 13 and 14 year olds - Weight limit 175 lbs.
Can not turn 15 before December 1st
Games start at 1:00 on Sunday afternoons

B Squad

10 and 11 year olds - Weight limit 145 lbs.
12 year olds - Weight limit 105 lbs.
Games start at 3:00 on Sunday afternoons

C Squad

8 and 9 year olds - Weight limit 120 lbs.
10 year olds - Weight limit under 85 lbs.
Games start at 11:00 on Sunday mornings

D Squad

6 and 7 year olds - Weight limit 100 lbs. - Must be 6 years old by August 1st
8 year olds - Weight limit under 70 lbs.
Games start at 9:00 on Sunday mornings
