Coventry Panthers are governed by the rules of the Northern Connecticut Football League (NCFL). Cheerleaders are an important part of the Coventry Youth Football & Cheerleading Association! They keep the teams and audience pumped up during the game and perform tremendous halftime routines. The A & B Squads participate in the NCFL Cheerleading Competition at the end of the season. The C & D Squads participate in an NCFL Cheerleading Jamboree during the season.

A Squad:

Head Coach:
12, 13 & 14 year olds
14 year olds must be in the 8th grade during the playing year and can not turn 15 years old before December 31st
Games start at 1:00pm on Sunday afternoons
B Squad:

Head Coach:
10 and 11 year olds
Can not turn 12 years old before July 1st
Games start at 3:00pm on Sunday afternoons
C Squad:

Head Coach:
8 and 9 year olds
Can not turn 10 years old before July 1st
Games start at 11:00am on Sunday mornings
D Squad:

Head Coach:
6 and 7 year olds
Can not turn 9 years old before July 1st
Games start at 9:00am on Sunday mornings
