Coventry Panthers are governed by the rules of the Northern Connecticut Football League (NCFL). There are four Coventry Panther football squads divided by age group. A player’s age for the season is determined by their age as of 7/1.

A Squad:

12 and 13 year olds – Weight limit 185 lbs. (176-185 lbs players must play between the tackles)
13 year old High School Freshman are not permitted
Can not turn 14 years old before July 1st
Games start at 1:00pm on Sunday afternoons

10 and 11 year olds – Weight limit 145 lbs.
Can not turn 12 years old before July 1st
Games start at 3:00pm on Sunday afternoons

8 and 9 year olds – Weight limit 120 lbs.
Can not turn 10 years old before July 1st
Games start at 11:00am on Sunday mornings

Can not turn 8 years old before July 1st
